LAHORE: The training camp of the Pakistan women’s cricket team being held for the preparation of the Twenty20 World Cup will conclude on May 21.

The national women team will take part in the three-nation tournament in Ireland from May 23 before participating in the mega event.

The training is going on in full swing at Muridke and special emphasis is being given on fielding of the selected 14-member squad in morning session at the camp while the cricketers are playing Twenty20 target matches in evening session.

Coach Mansoor Rana told that the training camp of the women’s cricket team would continue till May 21 and next day the team would leave for Ireland to participate in the three-nation tournament from May 23 to 29.

Apart from Pakistan and Ireland, South Africa will be the third team of the tournament.

Prior to the World Cup, Pakistan team will also play three practice matches with local clubs in England.
