Afridi to give tips to Women痴 team: ICC

LAHORE: Shahid Afridi said that he also offered his support to the Pakistan women痴 team who will also be taking part in the Twenty20 World Cup this summer.

He will give tips to the women痴 team and will make all out efforts to raise its morale.

As per the ICC statement, Afridi said that besides his men痴 national team he would also give tips to the women痴 national team and hopes that both teams would definitely reach the semi-finals.

Regarding his preparations for the Twenty20 World Cup, Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi said he is hoping to be inspired this summer by the likes of past greats Anil Kumble and Mushtaq Ahmed at the ICC World Twenty20 in England as both leg-spinners proved successful at English wickets.

Both have taken lots of wickets in England and he would also want to prove himself as a world class leg-spinner like Mushtaq and Kumble.
