    PAKISTAN go into this summer's World Twenty20 without Shoaib Akhtar - after he was diagnosed with genital warts. The fast bowler, 33, had been itching to play the showpiece tournament in England this summer after 14 months out with a knee injury.

    But after being diagnosed for the +++ually transmitted disease, he will not be ready in time.
    A PCB statement read: "The medical board has reported that Shoaib Akhtar was suffering from genital viral warts and the wound needs further care and treatment for another 10 days."
