Key battles to be fought out between Barcelona, Manchester

ROME: It''s the final of Champions League between the best two teams of this year Manchester United and Barcelona. Manchester United has a great year to not say perfect after the only mistake of them was that they lost their chances to take Fa Cup but to compare with what they won, that second cup is nothing.

In the start of this year the team of Sir Alex Ferguson won World Club Cup and before three weeks two other important trophy like Carling Cup and Premier League title. After they eliminated in the previous games teams like Inter, Porto and in the semifinal Arsenal now is hoping to end the success with a win in Rome.

The only player that will miss this final is Darren Fletcher after is suspended but this should not be a problem for the coach cause they have many talented and quality player to substitute him.

In the other side Barcelona is the team that has a great form and even that in one point is lucky to be in this final still is deserved for the work that they''ve done in the entire season.

They also won the Spanish Cup "Copa del Rey" than before one week won the Primera Division title. In this moment the eyes of Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola should be focused in the defence cause the team will be "faced" with many problems.

Two important players in their defense like Eric Abidal and Daniel Alves both will miss this clash while Rafael Marquez is injured. This might be a great news for Manchester United that will come in Rome more comfortable as the only part that they should be focussed is their defence.

They have some important misses in defence but still the players that they have are much better to attack.

It''s clearly that Manchester United will be the favorite team today in Rome as they came here more motivated and with the reason that will be more easy for one team to defend the Champions League title from to take it after some years.

Barcelona has good team and i don''t expect them to watch the way that Manchester United will play in this final but still Manchester United has an more experienced team from the last year that they won in the semifinal against Barcelona and in this moment I believe that should be a balanced game with few counterattack from Man Utd.

In this case I expect a match dominated more from Manchester United and also believe that if will be just one mistake from Barcelona defence than players like Cristiano Ronaldo.
