Hundreds of thousands welcome Champions League winners
BARCELONA: The Champions League winners have returned home to spectacular scenes in Barcelona as fans have lined the streets to greet their treble winning side.
Pep Guardiola''s men beat Manchester United in Rome to become the first Spanish club to win the treble and the fans have turned up in their thousands to pay tribute to them.
After touching down at the airport, Sport reports that the team boarded an open top bus and have been making their way through the city towards the Camp Nou.
Reports claim that the total back in 2006 when they won the Champions League was 500,000 and that it is likely to be surpassed this time.
As the bus went on, the songs began to get louder, some of the players, such as Caceres, took their shirts off, and the atmosphere became more and more like a party.
