let me tell you some usr-frndly tips, which can be used to secure your PC. following these instruction, you must keep onething in ur mind.."u cant beat a hacker". however you can restrict an average advance user...

1. always disable your Guest user account.
2. dont enable simple file sharing.
3. dont enable remote desktop connection
4. protect all the administrative accounts with complex passwords consiting of both alphabets and special characters.
5. space is a strong character within a password and makes it tough to break the password.
6. use a restricted limited user for your general usage of PC like browsing and music. only logg in your admin account when need to configure some application/device that need admin privillages.
7. always use latest and updated antivirus...now a days, Avira is showing the best results.
8. use windows firewall and dont disable it.preferabilly, user some software firewall.
9. try to del cookies every time you logg off or shut down, cookies can be used for both tracking and stealing into your PC.
10. try to use only trusted software from trusted sources.

doing these simple steps, u can avoid upto 80% chances of being Teased.
