Blind cricket team face difficulties to get England visa

LAHORE: Blind cricket team’s England tour is in jeopardy as the team is facing difficulties in getting visa.

Pakistan blind cricket team is scheduled to play three one-dayers and one Twenty20 match from August 9.

Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) had submitted visa application on July 8 and still waiting for visa.

PBCC Chairman Sultan Shah told Geo News that training camp for the tour is underway in Ayubia. The team’s departure is not possible tomorrow if it doesn’t get the visa today because office will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

England and Wales cricket board also contacted with British High Commission but the Commission said that scrutiny is underway.
