Case filed against PBF secretary

KARACHI: Zafar Zuberi, who was sacked as chairman of the Pakistan Boxing Federation, has filed a case against Federation’s secretary Mohammad Akram Khan for misusing funds.

Lawyer of Zafar Zuberi, Masood Khan, has adopted the instance in the case being heard by the court of justice Maqbool Baqar that secretary PBF Mohammad Akram Khan has illegally encroached the office of the federation and the funds are being misused. He is allegedly sending the unconcerned people on foreign tours with the team.

On the other hand, president PBF Duda Khan said that he would defend himself in the court.

The hearing of the case will be held on Monday.
