Pak blind cricket team’s England tour cancelled

ISLAMABAD: The British High Commission refused to issue visas to the Pakistan blind cricket team after which its tour of England has been cancelled.

Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council Syed Sultan Shah told Geo News that the Pakistan blind cricket team had to go to England for playing three one-dayers and a Twenty20 match for which requests were given for visas to the British High Commission on July 8.

However, the British High Commission returned the passports on Tuesday saying that the Pakistan blind cricket team does not meet the required merit.

Sultan Shah said that the team has earlier made tours of various countries including England and not issuing visas to it is disappointing.
