It was 6th of September 1965 when Pakistans armed forces faced off against Indias in the first full-scale war between the two countries. Much to the credit of the brave men (and women) in uniform that dayand for next 2-3 weeks following thatthe enemy attack on the City of Lahore was repulsed and theGeneral J. N. Chaudharys dream of having his drink at Lahore Gymkhana on the evening of September the 6th was squashed.

The Pakistan Army did not take long in repulsing the Indian aggression, the fought with courage, determination, devotion and dedication. They were full of thrill and emotionally stirred up. They faught till the Indians were made to run back from the sacred territory of Pakistan. War continued for seventeen days and during the time they cooled down the Indian military, they prooved that altough they were less in number they are capable of facing the difficulty and defending their mother land.
