Tennis: Clijsters beats Serena, reaches US Open final

NEW YORK: Wildcard Kim Clijsters of Belgium defeated defending champion Serena Williams of the United States 6-4, 7-5 on Saturday to reach the US Open final.

She will take on the winner of the other semi-final, opposing Yanina Wickmayer of Belgium and Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark, for the title on Sunday.
