No visas for Pak hockey team for Europe visit
LAHORE: The Europe visit of Pakistan hockey team has been delayed, as they could not get visas as yet, Geo News reported Saturday.
Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Secretary and team manager Asif Bajwa believes to receive visas soon, however.
According to Pakistan hockey team schedule, the team will leave for Europe on September 24, where they will play matches against France, Poland and Belgium. But, Pakistan team could not get visas for France and now French embassy will resume work after Eid holidays.
Pakistan are scheduled to play first match on September 27, which seems quite difficult to happen under the circumstances, as Pakistan team would not be able to make it according to schedule.
However, Asif Bajwa is confident that visas would be issued, saying, ‘There is nothing to worry about.’
