ICC delegation visits Rawalpindi and Islamabad
RAWALPINDI: A security delegation of the ICC arrived for inspection of grounds in Pakistan ahead of the Champions Trophy, visited Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Wednesday.
Pakistan Cricket Board officials received the ICC delegation at Islamabad airport on their arrival from Lahore.
The four-man ICC delegation, visited the KRL Ground in Rawalpindi to inspect practice arrangements for the foreign teams. The ICC officials later visited the Pindi cricket stadium.
The arrangements at the stadium will be finalized by the mid August, the Pindi Stadium officials told the ICC inspectors.
The ICC team later visited Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad to review the arrangements.
The authorities will provide detailed briefing to the ICC team about security arrangements during the Champions Trophy in September this year.
