kaka' hopes that being awarded a Marca Legend award by the Spanish daily sports paper will be first of many trophies he picks up during his time at Real Madrid.
The Brazilian legend was given the honour for achievements in football and joins a host of other world class sportsmen and women to have received the accolade.
Marca director Eduardo Inda stated during the presentation that, "Kaka's claim [for the award] was indisputable.
"He has won the World Cup, the Champions League, the Intercontinental Cup, the Ballon d'Or and the FIFA World Player of the Year award.
"But above all that it is his personality and spirit that saw him rise above everyone else."
Kaka himself was delighted to see his efforts recognised by the prestigious publication and he explained that he hopes there is more to come.
"I have many things still to win with Real Madrid, both collectively and individually," he said. "My aim is to win as many trophies as I can here.
"I hope that this prize is the first of many during my time as a Madrid player."
