Guti has dismissed suggestions that he could seek to leave Real Madrid, pledging his future to the club.
The 33-year-old playmaker is rumoured to have had a spat with coach Manuel Pellegrini that could see him forced out in January.
Those reports have been refuted by the club and now Guti has stated that he wants to see out his career at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I want to retire with Real Madrid," he was quoted as saying by Marca.
"I have a contract until 2011 and I want to honour it. I have spoken to Valdano and it was a good conversation."
Guti has not played since Madrid's 4-0 Copa del Rey first leg defeat against Alcorcon, but he thinks that he can win his place back by impressing in training.
"I know that I have to work hard in order to play. This two week break has given me a good opportunity to do that," he added.
