T20 win boost confidence of players: Afridi

KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket team Captain Shahid Afridi arrived back in Pakistan after winning New Zealand Twenty20 series.

Talking to media at Jinnah International Airport, he said the Twenty20 series win has lent great confidence to the players and it would greatly help them in New Zealand test series, adding the defeat in ODI was mainly due to bad performance in batting; however, now everybody should look forward to the future.

Afridi said the decision of Younis Khan to quit the captaincy was not a correct decision; he should have played this series.
