PCB chief denies statement about Shoaib Akhtar

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ijaz Butt said he did not give any statement regarding Shoaib Akhtar.

Talking to newsmen at Lahore Airport Chairman PCB said Younis Khan will surely play series against Australia to be held in England, however the Selection Committee will pick the Captain.

It may be mentioned the previous day a website quoted Ijaz Butt ruling out the return of controversial pacer Shoaib Akhtar to international cricket.
