Farah Khan dumps Shahrukh, chooses Akshay

Choreographer turned filmmaker Farah Khan has a long bond with Shahrukh Khan not only on professional front but personally too they are like family. After casting Shahrukh Khan in ‘Main Hoon Naa’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’, Farah shifts her choice most likely for her hubby Shirish Kunder who does not share a cordial relationship with Shahrukh Khan. Farah and Shirish choose Akshay Kumar for their next venture. The film titled, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and it will be a joint production of Shirish Kunder and Akshay Kumar’s banner Hari Om Productions.

Farah Khan will direct the film. Confirming the news a source said, “Farah was busy scripting her film, ‘Happy New Yea’r with SRK in the lead when Shirish managed to convince Akshay for ‘Tees Maar Khan’. He has been working on the subject since a long time. The film will go on the floors in March next year. This is the first time that Farah will be directing a film without SRK.”

While Farah Khan remarked that she has not dumped Shahrukh and they are very much together. “In fact, he’s very happy for me and our production house and has offered every kind of help that I might need while doing the film”, she said.
