National Games to be held at Peshawar in March: Aqil Shah

PESHAWAR: Provincial minister for sports, NWFP Syed Aqil Shah said that the National Games would be held in Peshawar in March.

Talking with Geo News in Peshawar, Syed Aqil Ahah said that he has informed the Pakistan Olympic Association that the National Games which were postponed earlier now may be held from March 16 to 20.

Aqil Shah said that a formal announcement of holding the National Games would be made by the Pakistan Olympic Association at a meeting to be held tomorrow.

The National Games were to be held in October but postponed due to security fears.
