New York : World no. 1 Serena William was hit with a record fine and two years of probation on Monday for her outbursts over a foot fault call in US open Tenis semifinal. The punishments was made by International Tenis Federation's Grand Slam committee. If Serena makes any major violation in 2010 and 2010 grand slam result could in three years suspension. Williams was fined a record $ 175000 with amount could be reduced to $82,500 if she stays in good behaviour in any grand slam event in 2010 or 2011. Williams committed the violation in semifinal loss to Kim Clijsters, the eventful US open winners.
