Pakistan’ll beat Canada in Champions Challenge: Bajwa
SALTA: Manager Pakistan hockey team and secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation Asif Bajwa expressed hope that the national team will defeat Canada in the Champions Challenge Hockey Cup opener.
Talking with Geo News, Asif Bajwa said that the players have adjusted themselves to weather conditions of Salta and are fully fit. Thus, there should not be any difficulty in achieving victory against Canada.
He said that the national team was richly benefited from its first two practice matches prior to the Champions Challenge Cup. This provided an opportunity to the players for adjusting themselves to ground and coming into rhythm.
Asif Bajwa said that penalty corner specialist Suhail Abbas would be focussed for all hopes in the tournament.
