National hockey team returns from Argentina
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan hockey team has returned home from Argentina here on Thursday after losing the final to New Zealand in the Champions Challenge Cup.
Talking with media on arriving at the Islamabad Airport, PHF secretary and team manager Asif Bajwa said that the Pakistan team played very well in the final but pressure mounted more after conceding two goals in the final moments and thus the team lost the match.
He said that there would be a tough contest in the Pakistan pool but the team has the capability of defeating each team in the pool.
Besides, senior players of the team Shakeel Abbasi, Salman Akbar and Rehan Butt said that the overall performance of the team was better in the event.
