water and only 3% is fresh water. Two third
fresh water is frozen into ice and only 1%
of all the earth water is in lakes, rivers,
or underground.

Lake Volta is in Ghana is the largest man-made
lake with an area of 8482 sq. kms.
The great lakes of North America ( Superior,
Huron, Erie and Ontario) sprawl over a massive
of 245000sq. km. and are visible from Moon.
