    candel khoyaa khoyaa udaas saa hogaa

    khoyaa khoyaa udaas saa hogaa
    tumse voh shakhs jab milaa hogaa

    phir bulaaya hai usne khat likh kar
    saamne koi maslaa hogaa

    ruuH se ruuH ho chukii bad-zin
    jism se jism kab judaa hogaa

    qurb ka zikr jab chalaa hogaa
    darmiyaaN koii faaslaa hogaa

    ghar mein sab so rahe hoNge
    phuuL aaNgan meN jal chukaa hogaa

    kal kii baateN karoge jab logo!
    Khauf saa dil meN ruunuma hogaa...
