Anguish of a Lover
************************
The unforgettable thrill in my innermost core,
Like the turbulent waves striking a silent shore;
When, first time , on your photo, my eyes fell,
The depth of the passions, I am unable to tell.
I wish, I could embrace you within my arms,
To relish your enthralling beauty and charms.
The destiny allows me, not to disclose your name,
More than myself, I care for you, and your fame.
If you are endowed with the genius to read my mind,
The words befitting you, in this poem, you will find.
It will surely ruffle your calm , and offend your soul,
Keep me in the dark, if you think, I am filthy and foul.
Let me suffer , and take your memory to my grave,
With the world, not knowing, how much, for you, I crave.
The Nature brought you to me from the far off land,
The Nature will bury my longings in the heap of sand.
But I hope, your conscience will prick ,unless you ask,
‘My friend! Is it ‘ME’?, Why this riddle ? Lift the mask !’
