New Delhi :They are the team everybody
wants to sea in action at hockey's biggest
stage, the World Cup. So the sight of this
hugely talented players trooping out of
the Bus on Monday evening from Lahore to
Delhi via Wagah border. But the excite-
of reaching India was clearly visible on
their faces though tired from of the
long and ardous journey.

The Zaheed Ashraef-led team's presence
in this World Cup is important since they
are first major team from accross the
border came to India for the sports
event. When asked why the team came
by bus while it could have reached Delhi from
Lahore in 50 minits by flight. Team Manager
Asif Bajwa replied smilingly that the journey
may be tough but we have come here with a
message of peace. We are happy with the
security arrangements made for us and
World Cup, said Bajwa.
