11th Cricket Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO: The eleventh Cricket Asia Cup will be played this year in Sri Lanka in and Pakistan will also participate in this event.

Asian Cricket Council spokesman Shahryar Khan told Geo News that the four-nation Asia Cup would be played from June 15 to 24 and this has been decided to give the hosting of the event to Sri Lanka.

Teams from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh will take part in the event.

Sri Lanka have hosted the event thrice and this time, Sri Lanka will take the field for a hat-trick of winning the team title.

India have won the tournament four times while Pakistan won the event once.
