Damages for Rs55 million claimed against PCB

LAHORE: Barrister Farooq Hasan has lodged a claim for Rs55 million as damages against the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on not paying his fee.

The claim has been lodged in the court of senior civil judge Lahore here on Saturday and barrister Farooq adopted the instance that the PCB had acquired his services at the rate of $500 per hour but it did not paid the fee to him.

Barrister Farooq Hasan requested to the court to get him from the PCB $92,000 on account of his fee and damages.

The senior civil judge, on barrister Farooq’s claim, has issued notice to chairman PCB Ijaz Butt and CEO Wasim Bari for appearing before the court on March 31.
