    Abhi is taraf na nigah kar, main gazal ki palken sanwar loon

    Mera lafz lafz ho aaina, tujhe aaine main utaar loon

    Tu tamam din ka thaka hua, main tamam shab ki jagi hui

    Zara thahar ja isi mor par, tere saath shaam guzar loon

    Agar asman ki numaishon main , mujhe bhi azn-e-qayam ho

    To main chand ki panah main teri raat sawaar loon

    Kai ajnabi teri raah main, mere pass se yoon guzar gye

    Jinhen dekh kar ye tarap hui, tera naam le kar pukar loon.
