Azlan Shah Hockey: Pakistan outplay Egypt 6-2

IPOH, Malaysia: Pakistan defeated Egypt 6-2 in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup men''s field hockey preliminary round match here Thursday.

Pakistan, who were leading 3-0 in the first half played brilliantly in the second half, too.

For Pakistan, Abdul Haseem Khan scored two goals while Mohammad Tauseeq, Mohammad Zubair, Mohamed Imran and Mohamed Waqas made one goal each.

For Egypt, both goals were netted by Mohammad Hassan.

In other match, Australia held South Korea to a 2–2 draw while Malaysia beat China 2-1.
