There are times when you want to extract the audio, video or other data like images or pictures out of a particular presentation, office by default does not allow you to do this.+ We will tell you a simple way with which you can extract the objects and data out of the presentation made in powerpoint 2007 or 2010 for older versions powerpoint presentations you can use PowerPoint Image Extractor+

However if you have the powerpoint presentation in office 2007 or 2010 format [ pptx ] then you don�t need any software to do this, follow the procedure below to know how to extract videos, pictures and audio from powerpoint presentations manually without any software.


In order to do this, you will first need to enable show file extensions in windows � for this Open Windows Explorer � Go to tools folder options >> View tab and then uncheck the setting which says Hide Extensions for known file types as shown in the image below.

Click ok

Now locate the presentation from which you want to extract the audio, video, images or other data and make a copy of the file

Rename the copy of the presentation you just created it, change the extension from pptx to zip

Now right click and open the zip file contents with windows explorer

Once it opens in windows explorer, navigate to the ppt >> media folder

In media folder you will find all the media files including audio, video and pictures which are added or embedded in the powerpoint presentation.+
