National Women Football C’ship draws announced

LAHORE: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)' have announced the draws for the sixth National Women Football Championship slated to commence from 26 July to 5 August 2010.

According to PFF Manager Competition Abdul Rauf Bari, the event will be comprised of twenty matches and twelve teams are being divided into four groups.

2005 Champion Punjab will face Karachi's Diya FC and Islamabad in Group-A while Group-B is comprised of 2008 Gold medalist Young Rising Star, 2006 Champion WAPDA and Balochistan. Debutant Frontier College of Peshawar will collide with Sindh and HEC while formidable last edition's runner-up Sports Sciences will face Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa and Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Group-D.

29 July : Balochistan v WAPDA (5 PM, Jinnah Stadium), Frontier College v HEC (5.30 PM, Ground No.2)
30 July : Islamabad v Diya (5 PM, Jinnah Stadium), Sports Sciences v Azad Kashmir (5.30 PM, Ground No.2)
31 July : Balochistan v Young Rising Star (5 PM, Jinnah Stadium), Sindh v HEC (5.30 PM, Ground No.2)
1, 2 August : Quarter-Finals
3 August : Rest Day
4 August : Semi Finals
