    DUST OF SNOW

    The way a crow
    Shook down on me
    The dust of snow
    From a hemlock tree
    Has given my heart
    A change of mood
    And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

I am so lonely, broken angel
I am so lonely, listen to my heart

    One and only, broken angel
Come and save me, before I fall apart

    Snow and Ice

    Outside my window
    A white world unfolds
    Where ice and snow
    Are a plenty
    And the sky is gray
    And dreary.

    Outside my window
    Is a frozen landscape
    With tree branches
    Sporting white powdery snow
    And oh, how I know
    That we’ll have to live
    A long time still
    With all this snow.

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
    A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
    They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
    In such a jocund company:
    I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
    Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils.

    Nature

The sounds of nature tells us many things.
The sounds of nature are our teachers.
The sounds of nature are so soothing
    Yet they can be terrifying.
How can we say what nature is?
What do we really know about nature?
So many questions we have asked.
    So many have gone unanswered.
So what does the sound of nature means?
    We shall never know.

A single rose can be my garden... a single friend, my world.

    Nature's Beauty [Nature]

    Through the trunked woody perennials
On to a striped-back burrowin' rodent
    Gently the air currents blow
    Bushy-tail tree dwellin' rodent
Gatherin' the nuts of an oak
    'Fore the wintery season begins
    Vivid image of flourishin’ blooms
    Brought about
    By fallin'
    Transparent liquids
    As the feathered songsters croons
    Flutterin' insects
    Move about rythmatically

    Buzzin' bees are nourishin'
    On nectar
    And accumulatin'
    The pollen
    Encouragin' the blooms to grow
    Bucked tooth, webbed-footer
    Chips through trunks
    Of alders & poplars
    Usin' food and it's abode
    Colorful gilled flippers
    Friskily swims along
    The embankment
    Ripples atop the surface
    Of the babblin' brook
    Brought by
    Hungry scaly swimmers

    Glassy black plumage
    Non-migrators perched
    On a wooden limb
    Long-eared burrowin' rodent
    Hoppin' through
    Vegetative earth
    Gnawin' hibernatin' marmots
    Excavatin' the woodland ground
    For
    It's abode
    Antlered hoofed cud-chewin' Mammals
    Prancin' through
    The dense brush

t pic - English POetry Competetion August 10HE mountain brows,
    the rocks,
    the peaks,
    are sleeping,
    Uplands and gorges hush!
    The thousand moorland things are stillness keeping;
    The beasts under each bush
    Crouch, and the hivèd bees
    Rest in their honeyed ease;
In the purple sea fish lie as they were dead,
And each bird folds his wing over his head
