    Jise misl e gul ka khitab doon jise chandni si taab don,
    Jise dond ker jise khoj ker rukh e asmaan pe saja bhi dun,
    Mere khon e dil ki nigarishain mere roh tak kia fastar bhi,
    Yahan elm o fan ki dukan par bare saste damose bik gaya,
    Mje tor ker muje mor kr mere doston ne jala dia,
    Reh e zindagi k ghubar mein mri khaak tak ko ura dia,
    mujhe phir bhi koi gila nahi jo nahi mila so nahi mila…
