As the name suggest this tool reads EXIF file of your images. It is a very simple tool and when you run its exe file, you will see a window as shown above. On the top of window, you can see a shortcut button Open. Click on this button and then browse for any image file which you have taken from a digital camera. Alternative, you can even drag a image into this tool, to read its EXIF information.

So when you open any image, at the right side on the window you can see all the relative information regarding your camera setting at the time, when you took that image. You can have a look at following example to see how exactly it works.

So when you open any image, this tool will show you the manufacturer and model of your digital camera, Exposure Time, Date and Time, Shutter Speed Value, Flash, Focal length and much more other information regarding your image. You can even extract all this information in a text file by clicking on Information and then select save as text file or CSV text file.

Then save this text file to a desired location and you can keep all this information for any future references. Information stored in text file is very easily readable. You can see an example below.
