    Kabhi kabhi main sochta hoon
    keh khwaabon ko haqeeqat ka roop dena
    kitna mushkil hota hai

    Kitna mushkil hota hai
    seene se dil ko nikaal kar phaink dena
    thukraye jaane ke ehsaas se guzarna
    judai ko mehsoos karna
    uss waQt sambhaalna khud ko
    jab apne haathon hi
    khushyion ko dafan karna ho..

    Mohabbat ko nafrat ki mitti mein dabaana ho
    Ehsasaat ko lafzon ki lari mein pirona ho
    kisi ko chahne ke ba-wajood pyar
    ke liye tarsana ho..

    Kitna mushkil hota hai woh lamha..
    jab yeh maloom hota hai keh
    kis ko be-intehaa chahne par sila miley sirf be-rukhi
    kisi ke paas hone ke ehsaas se guzar kar
    usey khud se door karna ho..

    Kitna mushkil hota hai..
    kabhi kabhi main sochta hoon..
    keh
    yeh sab mohabbat mein hi kyun hota hai
    sochta rehta hoon main..

    Lekin! haan main tau bhool gaya
    soch tau hai meri ek hadh tak..
    Aur
    Mohabbat tau hoti hi la mehdood hai..
