    yeh saarey ik ik kar k jub tum ko chorh jaayain tou laut aana

    main rouz yoonhi hawa pay likh likh kar uski jaanib yeh bhaijta hoon
    k achey mausam agar pahaarhoun pay muskuraayain tou laut aana

    agar andhairoun main chorh kar tum ko bhool jayain tumhaarey saathi
    or apni khaatir hee apney diyey jalaayain tou laut aana

    meri woh baatain jin pay bey ikhtiyaar hunsta tha khilkhila kar
