    Meri chahat ka safar is liye dushwar raha
    Main mohabat may wafaon ka talabgar raha

    Ho gaye sare gilay door juda hotay hi
    Ghamzada wo hai na main uska talabgar raha

    In hawaon may ab dhundta phirta hun usay
    Jin hawaon se kabhi barsar-e-pekaar raha,

    Na muradi k siwa hijr k aaram bhi thay
    Phir zamane ka zamana hi sitam gaar raha,

    Jasb-e-shoq ne us waqt bhi chaha tujhko
    Jab wo shokhi na wo gaisu na wo rukhsar raha,

    Aik hasrat si mere dil mey kahin aur bhi thi
    Har badalti hui rut mey gham-e-dildar raha

    Is qadar hamsafri se tha harasan wo shakhs
    Saath hi chor gaya dasht k us paar raha....
