nabi kareem sallallahu alihe wasallam ney farmaya:
jab ehle khana mein sey koi fout howey rishtidaar ke liye sadka o khairaat kar ke eesaal e sawab karta hai to uskey sawab ka tuhfa jibrail alih salam aik khubsurat thal mein rakh kar us kabar waley key sarhaney ja ker paish kartey hain key terey fulan rishtedaar ney yeh bheja hai . woh usey kubool karta hai aur doosree kabar waloan ko khushkhabree sunata hai . aur uskey perosiyun mein nsey jis ko is kisam ka tuhfa nai milta woh udaas ho jatey hain . (refrence. al mojam ul awsat li tibrani. volume 7: page 260)
