Can our social behavior Change?

The social factors that shape human interaction, these social elements include features such as knowledge, attitudes, norms and cultural practices.

We can change our (being) through unique variety of self-efficacy the extent or strength of one's belief in one's own ability to complete tasks and reach goals, and self-esteem measured the same, single factor and demonstrated them to be related concepts.

Another key factor is ‘Motivation’. It represents the reasons for people's actions, desires, and needs. Motivation can also be defined as one's direction to behavior or what causes a person to want to repeat a behavior and vice versa, motive is what prompts the person to act in a certain way, or at least develop an inclination for specific behavior.
Further Self-control it has been suggested that although a person may be classed as highly intelligent they may remain unmotivated to pursue intellectual endeavors.

I do Summarize the above in the following which can help us changing social behavior and it should start with self before we preach others!!
Instigation: increases tendency when an activity has intrinsic ability to satisfy;
Inhibition: decreases tendency when there are obstacles to performing an activity; and
Consummation: decreases a tendency as it is performed.
