    Default Amir, Asif refuse to participate in ICC teleconfer

    KARACHI: Cricketers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir have refused to attend the International Cricket Council (ICC) teleconference scheduled today to share their views on a request by Salman Butt to delay a spot-fixing hearing.

    The conference was to be attended by the lawyers representing Pakistan's suspended trio Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir.

    The ICC opted for a teleconference to discuss a request by Salman Butt to delay spot-fixing hearing, which is supposed to take place from January 6 in Doha.

    Mohammad Amir is against the idea of delaying next month's spot-fixing hearing as he is looking for a quick verdict on the issue.

    Speaking at Geo's morning show Tuesday, Amir said that he wants a quick verdict so that he can make the cut for Pakistan's team for World Cup 2011 that gets underway in February.

    i think butt sahi hay, aamir is actually making a way ke agar world cup k liy select na hoto kahin aur daal gal jae county etc mei.. salman butt strong se strong laywer ki taraf ja raha hay it means k uske case mai kuch hay, jab ke aamir itne expensive laywers afford nahi kar skta isliy uske liy ye sab time waste hay.
