Change Website Twitter Tweet Going Through Feedburner



Feedburner allows you to send your new website articles to twitter via any twitter id, by default when any of the new blog article gets tweeted it will get tweeted with title link, some content taken from the initial first paragraph and shortened link to article.

Follow the procedure below, to change the structure of the tweets or their format.


1. Login to feedburner.google.com

2. Once you are logged in, click the website feed entry name as shown in the image below.



3. Click the Publicize tab and then click Socialize under on the left pane as shown in the image below.



4. Scroll down and locate Post Content options and then you can select from the drop down what should get tweeted and in which format from three different options.



If you select Title Only then tittle with shortened link will get tweeted or if you select Title and Body then article title, some content with shortened link will get tweeted. Once you are done with your selection, click the save button at the bottom of the page.



For Example here is how a tweet from the website feed will look like which is sent via feedburner to the linked twitter id.
