    cute Gazal: Mirza Ghalib Salgiraha pe: Ishq mujhko nahi

    Urdu Adab ki Roshan Meenar
    Mirza Ghalib ki Salgirah 27.12. 1797
    pe Unhi ki Ghazal.


    Ishq mujhko nahin bahshet he sahi
    Meri bahshet teri shohret he sahi.

    Kattae keeje na taaluk humse
    ( Torna)
    Kuch nahin hai to adavet he sahi.

    Mere hone mai hai kya rusvayee
    A wo majlis nahin khalvet he sahi.

    Hum bhi dushman to nahin apne
    Gair ko tujhse mohabat he sahi.

    Apni hasti he se ho, jo kuch ho
    Aa-gahi(hosh) ger nahin to
    gaflet he sahi.

    Yaar se cher chali jaye 'Asad'
    Ger nahin vasl to hasret he sahi.
