Wo jawab bhi na de saka wo to khud sarapa-e- sawaal tha
Wo jo us ke samne aa gaya wohi roshni mein naha gaya
Ajab us ki haibat-e-husan thi ajab uska rang-e-jamal tha
Dam-e-wapsi pe kia hua na wo roshni na wo taazgi
Wo sitara kaise bikhar gaya wo to ap apni misaal tha
wo mila Sadion baad b to merey lab pe koi gila na tha
meri chup ne ussay rula diya jise guftagu mein kamaal tha
Wo mujhe se mil k ro diya faqat itna wo keh saka
Jise jaanta tha wo zindagi wo to bas wahm-o-khayaal tha
