Pakistan playing 11 for World Cup

Cricket World Cup is about to start. We have our 15 member squad and finally the captain also named. Now the big question is who will make it to the playing 11?

Given the poor bowling form of Shoaib Akhtar and Sohail Tanvir and the ridiculous batting display by Umer Akmal over the course of the last year I am unsure about the strongest combination for Pakistan.

Help me out here and select a playing 11 that you think will be the strongest. Also do keep in mind the playing conditions in Sri Lanka because that is where we will get to play our Group matches...

Kamran Akmal is the wicket keeper. Umer Akmal can also be an occasional wicket keeper.

Reasons:
Spot 1 and 2: Fixed because we do not have any other openers.
Spot 3: Belongs to Younis Khan because he is the man for the job.
Spot 4: I have given this spot to Asad Shafiq because he needs time to settle down and he is not a big finisher.
Spot 5: Misbah at number 5 below Asad Shafiq and Younis Khan because he is an accumulator and can finish the game better than the two.
Spot 6: Wicket Keeper Kamran Akmal. He cannot be pushed further down.
Spot 7: Captain Shahid Afridi
Spot 8: Abdul Razzaq because you do not want him to come on way too early.
Spot 9: Umer Gul for his exceptional Bowling skills.
Spot 10: Wahab Riaz for his extremely useful bowling.
Spot 11: Saeed Ajmal for his decent offspin and doosra.


No place for Umer Akmal because he has been a complete failure over the last year or so.
Shoaib Akhtar and Sohail Tanvir have not been as effective as they used to be.
