DUBAI: Chief executive International Cricket Council (ICC) Haroon Lorgat said that it has been proved after the anti-corruption tribunal verdict on spot fixing that there is no room for corruption in cricket.

Lorgat had already said clearly that corruption would not be tolerated at all in cricket.

He had said that he would be disappointed if the three Pakistani cricketers – Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamer - involved in spot fixing are not punished.

The ICC anti-corruption tribunal on Saturday announced ban on all these three players.
