    cute Zindgi pyari sahi lekin hamain merna to hai.

    Lab pe pabandi nahin ehsaas pe pahra to hai
    Fir bhi ahle - dil ko wale-basher kahna to hai.

    Apni gairet bech dale apni maslek (Icha) chor de
    Rahnumaon mai bhi kuch logon ki ye mansha to hai.

    Hain jinhe subse jyada watan pe fida ka dawa
    Aaj unki vajeh se hubbe- watan rusva to hai.

    Bujh rahe hai ek ek kerke akeedon ke diye
    Is andhere ka lekin saamna kerna to hai.

    Jhoont kyon bole faroge-maslhet ke naam pe,
    Zindgi pyari sahi lekin hamain merna to hai.
