    Kitni girhein kholi hai maine
    Kitne girhein ab baaki hai

    paao mein payal
    baho mein kangan
    gale mein hansli,
    kamarband, challe aur bichuye
    naak kaan chidwaye gaye
    aur zewar zewar kehte kehte
    reet riwaaz ki rassiyo se mein jakri gayi
    kitni tarah mein pakri gaye

    ab chhilne lage hain haath paao
    aur kitni kharashe ubhri hai
    kitni girhein kholi hai meine
    kitni rassiya utri hai

    aang aang mera roop rang
    mere naksh naine
    mere bol ??
    meri awaaz mein koyal ki taarif hue
    meri zulf saap meri zulf raat
    zulfo mein ghata mere laab gulab
    aankhein sharaab
    ghazalein aur nazmein kehte kehte
    main husn qur ishq ke afsaano mein jakri gayi
    kitni tarah mein pakri gayi

    mein poonchoo zara
    aakhomein sharab dikhi saabko
    aakaash nahi dekha koe
    sawan bhado to dikhe magar
    kya dard nahi dekha koe

    ?? ???? phan ki jhili si chadar mein
    but chile gaye uryani ke
    taga taga kaarke poshaaq utari gaayi
    mere jism pe phan ki mushq hue
    aur aap panha kehte kehte
    sange marmar pe jakri gayi
