    tum naghma-e-mah-o-anjum ho
    tum soz-e-tamanna kia jano

    tum dard-e-mohabat kia samjho
    tum dil ka tarapna kia janoo

    tum dor kharey tak'tey hi rahy
    or doobney wala doob gaya

    sahil ko tum manzil samjhy
    tm lazzat-e-darya kia jano

    sou bar agar tum rooth gae
    hum tum ko mana hi laengey

    ek baar agar hum rooth gaey
    tum ham ko manana kia jano

    dunye-e-rafaqat me shayd
    tum pehle pehle aay ho

    tum doobti nabzen kia samjho
    tum dil ka dharakna kia jano
